ULAANBAATAR AND ROME TO COOPERATE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city E.Bat-Uul visited Italy’s Rome city this May 5-6 by invitation of the Mayor of Rome Mr Ignazio Marino. The two Mayors shared views on developing a cooperation between the capital cities, on ways of implementing joint projects, together with Rome's businessmen, on intensifying the collaboration in education sector, and concurred to establish a cooperation memorandum. The UB Mayor also met Ms Marta Leonori, a Deputy Mayor of Rome in charge of economic affairs; Mr Mario Baccini, a president of Italy’s Microcredit Bank; Mr Arturo Sakki, a president of the Italian Association of Architects; and Amadeo Teti, a deputy chairman of the Italian side of the Italy-Mongolia intergovernmental commission. The sides touched upon ways of expanding the ties between the two cities and implementing projects and programs. Mr Bat-Uul invited his Italian counterpart to Ulaanbaatar.
