UN official hails Iran’s efforts in campaign against drugs

TEHRAN,Dec.20(MNA) – United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Executive Director Yury Fedotov on Tuesday praised Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan for their cooperation in the campaign against illicit drugs. The UN official also said that close cooperation between the three countries in this regard has produced good results, adding that over 8000 tons of illicit drugs have been seized in joint operations conducted by the countries.
