UN Security Council to hold open meeting on situation in Ukraine

UNITED NATIONS, April 29 (Itar-Tass) - The UN Security Council on Tuesday will hold the first after a two-week interval meeting on the situation in Ukraine, the permanent mission of Luxembourg to the United Nations said on Monday. “UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman will hold a briefing for the Council members,” the diplomatic mission said. According to the UN Security Council schedule, the meeting will be open and will be held in the afternoon, New York time (late night MSK). Ukrainian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Yuri Sergeyev is expected to attend the meeting. The UN Security Council’s previous meeting on Ukraine was held on April 16.
