UNICEF TO SUPPORT LOBBYING FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A member of the State Great Khural S.Odontuya received June 2 a newly appointed permanent representative of the UNICEF to Mongolia Mr Roberto Benes. The latter congratulated her on a formation in parliament a group that is lobbying a promotion of the families and children’s growth, and promised to support the activities of the group by all means. The sides underlined an importance of presenting the drafts of the Law on the Rights of the Child and the Law on Child Protection for extended discussions and of developing a proposal for parliament, and agreed to cooperate in certain ideas.
