UNRWA Commissioner-General hails Azerbaijan`s humanitarian support for Palestinian refugees

Baku, September 25, AZERTAC Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Pierre Krähenbühl has commended Azerbaijan`s humanitarian support for Agency’s regular projects on education, healthcare and improving the living conditions of Palestinian refugees as he met with Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on the margins of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. The UNRWA Commissioner-General highlighted the latest developments and activities, as well as future projects of the Agency. Speaking about Azerbaijan`s chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Summit to be held in October in Baku, the Commissioner-General confirmed his participation in the high-level meeting. The sides also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the Agency and the country.
