UNSC Chief: G5+1-Iran Talks To Lead To Final Agreement

New York, June 23, IRNA – China's Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Security Council Li Baodong said that continuation of Tehran-5+1 talks will lead to a final agreement.
Baodong, who holds the rotatory chairmanship of the council, told IRNA in an exclusive interview that diplomacy is the only possible way towards settlement of differences between both sides.
He believed that more talks will help find a diplomatic way out of the present situation.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman had previously described the recent negotiations between Tehran and the 5+1 in Moscow as realistic and positive, stressing that Beijing was keen to play a constructive role in finding a long-term, all-out and appropriate solution to Iran's nuclear issue.
Nuclear negotiation between Iran and Group 5+1 in Moscow wrapped up its work on June 19, after two days of intensive talks to settle disputes and discuss bilateral proposals.
Both sides held four rounds of negotiations and expounded on their viewpoints concerning the existing disputes.
On the second day of talks, bilateral meetings were held between Iranian negotiating team and a number of G5+1 members such as China and Russia as well as EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton./end
