U.S. hatching new plots against Iran: Rafsanjani

TEHRAN,May 29(MNA) – Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, who was barred by the Guardian Council from running for president, has said that the United States has been “hatching new plots” against Iran. “In the current situation, the country is in need of unity, cohesion, and solidarity,” Ayatollah Rafsanjani said in Tehran late on Monday.
