U.S. worried about Iran’s action: Iranian commander

TEHRAN,Sept.6(MNA) – The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Naval Force said on Wednesday that the United States is worried about Iran’s action against it. U.S. forces are in a defensive position in the Persian Gulf, Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said, adding, “The United States is worried about our action against it, and our smallest movements worry them and cause them to show unusual behavior.” “For example, some time ago, a U.S. aircraft carrier entered the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz and suddenly turned around and collided with a giant tanker,” he said. He also said, “The Americans do not want even a bullet to be fired in the Persian Gulf so that they can pursue their strategies, but they are weak in confrontation with Iran.” “Our boats are moving day and night at a distance of several meters from them, and we are closely monitoring all their moves,” he added. In addition, Fadavi said, “If the Americans make the slightest stupid move, they will not escape the region unharmed.” “In the IRGC Naval Force, no one believes that the U.S. Navy is more powerful and capable than Iran,” he said.
