Vice Minister of Health at General debate in New York

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Vice Minister of Health and Sport of Mongolia D.Atarmaa has delivered a speech at the General debate themed "National experience in population matters". This debate ran within the 48th session of the Commission on Population Development, which is continuing under a key topic "Realizing the future we want--integrating population issues into sustainable development, including the Past-2015 Development Agenda" in New York of the USA. Ms Atarmaa highlighted the achievements Mongolia gained in realizing a program action of the international conference on population and development issues, held 1994 in Cairo of Egypt, and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). She also talked about an alteration of Mongolia's state policy on population and development, reforms in legal and institutional environments, and actions focused on health, youths and elders. Then she noted about challenges and difficulties in implementing the Past-2015 Development Agenda.
