Vice Speaker meets Ambassador of Estonia
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Vice Speaker of parliament L.Tsog Monday received Mr Toomas Lukk, the Concurrent Non-Resident Ambassador of Estonia to Mongolia.
The Vice Speaker said he is happy that the Mongolia-Estonia relations and cooperation are expanding. He backs an activation of the relations and a co-organization of high-level meetings and visits, he said and affirmed that the President of Estonia has been invited to Mongolia.
He also underlined the opportunities to expand the cooperation in the trade, investments, economic and scientific fields, and said Mongolia wants to learn Estonian technology of schist processing.
Estonia has become one of the leading nations not only in Europe, but also in the world by its developing E-governance system, the Vice Speaker expressed a willingness of Mongolia to study this experience and to collaborate with Estonia in preparing staffers and organizing trainings and seminars.
He highlighted an importance of the inter-parliamentary relations and said D.Battsogt MP is the head of the Mongolia-Estonia inter-parliamentary group at the State Great Khural.
In turn, Mr Lukk thanked the Vice Speaker for receiving him and said he and the Embassy of his country do big efforts to expand the bilateral relations and cooperation and intend to creatively continue them.
The Ambassador said it is important to deepen the cooperation in the above fields, adding that the ties between the countries are beginning to develop intensively. The he briefed a present political situation in his country.
Mongolia and Estonia established the diplomatic relations on November 20 of 1991.
