"We aim a democratic and pluralist administration in Syria in future"

ISTANBUL (AA) - March 28, 2012 - Members of the Syrian opposition convened in Istanbul prior to the meeting of "Friends of Syria" on April 1. Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA) following their meeting, the official Spokesperson for the Syrian National Assembly, Besma Kodmani, said that during their talks in Istanbul they exchanged views. "We aim a democratic and pluralist administration in Syria in the future," Kodmani said. In our meeting, we talked about a democratic Syria in which all sects and groups would get represented. In the upcoming term, there will be an administration in Syria that would represent all Syrians without discriminating among races and religions. This administration would be a pluralist one, Kodmani stressed. When new Syria gets established, all Syrians would see that this was their achievement. The new legal system would benefit all Syrians. There is the problem of unemployment in Syria. Creating jobs would be among the priority of the new Syrian state. Our meeting focused on making all Syrians happy, Kodmani also said.
