West Must Not Deny Iran’s Peaceful N-right : Pakistani MP

Islamabad, Jan 9, IRNA – A senior Pakistani Parliamentarian on Tuesday said that West should quit biased approach towards Iran and let the Islamic Republic develop its peaceful nuclear program. Talking to IRNA, member of National Assembly (MNA) Syed Nasir Ali Shah said that so called world powers cannot tolerate technological advancements of Muslim countries. “They are against the nuclear program of Iran because it is a strong Muslim country,” he viewed. “I strongly condemn western pressure on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program,” said the lawmaker. Iran as an NPT member-state stresses its right to fully benefit from its nuclear right and maintains its role as an active member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Non-Proliferation treaty (NPT). He said that dialog between Iran and 5+1 group should be result-orientated. Syed Nasir Ali Shah added that western countries are following the policy of might is right in the world politics. The politician went on to say that US and western countries want Muslim world to remain backward in all fields. The political leader, expressing his views, said that Muslim countries should come out of American influence. “Our minds should be free in making decisions,” he pointed out. The lawmaker said that it is the policy of West to put pressure on those Muslim countries which are progressing in the field of science and technology. He said that Iran has repeatedly said that they are developing peaceful nuclear program and they have no ambitions for nuclear weapons. “West should respect Iran’s peaceful nuclear right and quit the policy of double standards,” said the political leader. Syed Nasir Ali Shah said that Muslim world must unite against the western hegemony and shun their differences. “Muslim states must support Iran on peaceful nuclear program,” he added. The Parliamentarian said that US has to realize that power belongs to Allah almighty and they cannot do anything without the will of Allah. “They will not be able to accomplish their satanic designs against Iran,” he strongly believed./end
