World Assembly Condemns Shia Imam's Assassination In Brussels

Qom, March 14, IRNA –Ahlolbait World Assembly condemned terrorist attack against a Shia mosque in Brussels and assassination of the mosque imam. In a statement, a copy of which was sent to IRNA on Tuesday, the Assembly said that sanctity of mosques, as houses of God and places for prayers, has been broken again and blood of a clergyman has been shed. It said that supporters of such crimes in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Belgium and now in European countries are enemies of humanity who, by issuing fake fatwas, push ignorant persons to kill innocent people and burn temples and shrines. It continued that these people cannot accept Muslim success in co-existence with other divine religion followers in Europe and now are trying to create disunity, hatred and enmity among Muslims and followers of other divine religions. The statement condoled with martyrdom of Sheikh Abdullah Dahdove who was killed on Monday evening in a mosque, close to Brussels, capital of Belgium. Building of the mosque was damaged, too, because of fire./end
