Zarif In Turkmenistan To Attend Joint Economic Commission

Tehran, Jan 20, IRNA – Visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan capital, on Monday to attend the 13th Joint Iran-Turkmenistan Economic Commission meeting. Upon arrival, Zarif was officially welcomed by his Turkmen counterpart Rashid Meredov. Zarif and Meredov will lead the two-day joint commission session to be opened later today in the Turkmen capital. Zarif is scheduled to hold talks with several top Turkmen officials on issues of mutual interests, the ways for enhancing economic and cultural ties as well as regional cooperation on the sidelines of the joint commission meeting./end
