Zionist Lobby Hatching Conspiracies Against Iran : Pak Analyst

Islamabad, Oct 6, IRNA -- A former Pakistani minister on Friday accused Zionists of hatching conspiracies against Iran adding that there is no justification of putting pressure on Islamic Republic over its peaceful nuclear program. Talking to IRNA the former Senator Lt. Gen (R) Javed Ashraf Qazi said that the US must stop backing the racist Zionist regime, financially and in military field, since Israel is responsible for destabilizing the peace of the entire world. “Pressure on Iran is unjustified and shows western bias,” he added. The analyst expressing his views said that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has been saying that Iran is not after nuclear weapons so there is no reason left for anybody to doubt over peaceful nuclear program of Iran. “Western countries cannot tolerate nuclear program of a Muslim country,” said the former intelligence chief. Javed Ashraf Qazi viewed that sanctions on Iran are proved to be a futile exercise. “Iran is the signatory of -Proliferation Treaty (NPT) which allows Iran to develop peaceful nuclear technology,” said the analyst. To a question he said that war is no solution to any issue and war in the Middle East is not in the favor of any country. The former minister noted that the racist Zionist regime is pushing the US for a war against Iran but the US is not paying any attention to the demands of the Zionist regime. He was of the view that the Zionist regime will not be able to implement its evil schemes against the Islamic Republic. Javed Ashraf Qazi, however, said that unlimited financial and military support to Zionist regime by the US must come to an end. “US support has made Zionist regime arrogant,” he pointed out. The analyst said that Iran has progressed a lot in defense sector and is fully capable of responding to any military misadventure. “The People of Iran are united against the west, which is a major weapon of Iran,” viewed the politician. Former Senator said that Iran is a strong country and the threats of Zionist regime will have no effect on the policies of Iran. Lt. Gen (R) Javed Ashraf Qazi during his army career headed the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) from 1993 to 1995 and Military Intelligence (MI) from 1990 to 1991.
