Zionists Hatching Conspiracies To Destabilize Syria : Analyst

Islamabad, Sept 9, IRNA – Former Pakistani diplomat has said that Zionists are hatching conspiracies against Syria to destabilize an important Muslim country. Talking to IRNA, former ambassador to UAE, Air Marshal (Retd) Syed Qaiser Hussain added that Zionists are responsible for unrest in Syria but they will not be able to accomplish their evil designs against Muslim world. “Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon together constitute a crescent against Zionists,” he opined. The analyst expressing his views said that the situation of Syria is different from Egypt and Tunis. He added that there is no Arab spring in Syria but western supported sectarian violence. Syed Qaiser Hussain said that Russia has one base in Syria and would not allow US and West to create unrest in the Arab state. Former diplomat said that Saudi government is building pressure on Syria to bring “Wahabiyat’ in the country but they will not be able to succeed in imposing their plans. He agreed with the Iranian stand to resolve the crisis in Syria through dialogue. “War is no solution,” the analyst noted. He was of the view that sectarian violence is on the rise in Syria and change of government cannot stop civil war in the country. Syed Qaiser Hussain warned that al-Qaeda has reached Syria which would further aggravate the situation of the country. The analyst went on to say that West is providing weapons to al-Qaeda to destabilize Syria. He said that Iran after assuming the Chairmanship of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) can play a pivotal on Syrian crisis. “Syria is no Egypt,” he added. Former diplomat strongly believed that Iran is the only country that can solve the problem in Syria logically. He said that Zionists are behind conspiracies against Syria and their objective is to destabilize an important Muslim country. Syed Qaiser Hussain has served as acting chief of the Pakistan Air Force. After retirement he was appointed as Pakistan’s ambassador to UAE./end
