President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Cholpon-Ata, June 2, 2023. / Kabar/. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Kyrgyzstan to attend the second European Union-Central Asia summit.

At the Issyk-Kul International Airport, Emomali Rahmon was met by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov.

The current state and prospects of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two regions is planned to be discussed at the summit and an exchange of views on topical issues on the international agenda and interaction between the states of Central Asia and the European Union will take place.

The First European Union - Central Asia Summit was held in October 2022 in Astana (Kazakhstan).
