President Zhaparov to visit Mongolia

Bishkek, July 6, 2023. /Kabar/. On July 9-11, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a state visit to Mongolia at the invitation of President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev said.

Thus, the Kyrgyz leader will hold bilateral meetings with his Mongolian counterpart, Prime Minister of Mongolia

President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurlsukh, Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene, Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Gombozhavyn Zandanshatar.

"The parties will discuss the state and prospects of further development of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia in trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres," Azymbakiev added.

The official opening ceremony of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Mongolia is also expected as part of Zhaparov’s visit.

"During the visit, a Joint Declaration of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia on deepening relations of friendship and cooperation will be signed, as well as a number of bilateral agreements on cooperation in the economy, digitalization, agriculture, environmental protection, development of forest ecosystems, etc.

The sides will also sign agreements to establish twinning ties between the cities of Bishkek and Ulaanbaatar, Chui Oblast of Kyrgyzstan and the Hentian aimag of Mongolia to strengthen trade, economic and social and humanitarian relations between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia," said the head of the Foreign Policy Department.
