The press statement of Quadripartite meeting: Commitment to Syria’s territorial integrity,combating terrorism

 

Moscow, SANA- The press statement release by the  quadripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Syria, Russia, Turkey and Iran affirmed Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and combating terrorism in all its forms.

The statement called for increasing the volume of international aid to Syria in order to help rebuild the country and guarantee the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland

According to the statement, the four deputy foreign ministers were instructed to prepare a roadmap for developing relations between Syria and Turkey, in coordination with the defense ministries of the four countries.

The press statement underscored the substantive and constructive discussions on the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2254 and the official statements in Astana format.

“A positive and constructive atmosphere prevailed the exchange of views,” the statement added. It was agreed to maintain quadripartite negotiations and high-level contacts in the upcoming period.
