Qatar Central Bank Issues QR 1 Billion Treasury Bills Due On March 23

Doha, March 19 (QNA) - Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued treasury bills worth QR 1 billion for a one-week term in March, due on 23rd, at an interest rate of 5.0050 percent. QCB had issued treasury bills worth QR 3 billion for a one-week term in March. On March 9, QCB issued treasury bills and Islamic sukuk for one week and one, three, six and nine month terms at a value of QR 3 billion. The total value of bids submitted amounted to QR 4.58 billion. (QNA)
