Qatar Chamber Discusses Investment Enhancement with Haiti

 

 

Doha, March 08 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber discussed the strengthening of economic and trade cooperation between Qatar and Haiti, as well as the investment environment of both countries with their potential investment opportunities.

    This came during the meeting of Second Vice-Chairman of the Qatar Chamber Rashid bin Hamad Al Athba with a delegation from the Republic of Haiti, headed by General Manager of the Center for Facilitation of Investments Leonne Prophete.

    Al Athba explained during the meeting, Qatari businessmen and investors' desire to invest in friendly countries, in line with Qatar's economic diversification policy, expressing the Chamber's eagerness to enhance cooperation between Qatari businessmen and investors and their counterparts from all over the world.

    Al Athba reviewed Qatar's investment environment, business startup procedures, and the most attractive investment sectors for Haitian investors, stressing Qatar Chamber supports attracting foreign investments to Qatar in all sectors, especially given its attractive legislative structure, business environment, and world-class infrastructure.

    For her part, Leon Profet said that her country's delegation's visit to Qatar came as part of its participation in the United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, expressing the delegation's desire to learn about bilateral investment possibilities, and noting her country's desire to attract Qatari investments.
