RHF signs memo with Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkiye

Ankara, Mar. 22 (BNA): Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Chief Executive of the National Committee to Support the Victims in Syria and Turkiye, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with member of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkiye (DEiK), Chairwoman of the Turkish side in the Bahrain-Turkiye Business Council, Bilgün Gürkan.
Dr. Al-Sayed reviewed cooperation opportunities between RHF and the Bahrain-Turkiye Business Council in supporting humanitarian work, in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkiye.
The RHF Secretary General affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain has provided urgent relief aid to the victims of the earthquake, in line with the directives of HM the King, with the support of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and through RHF led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. He noted that the memo is part of the memoranda of understanding signed with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Turkiye Red Crescent to continue providing support to the victims of the earthquake.
Bilgün Gürkan paid tribute to Bahrain’s leadership, government and people for the great humanitarian role to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkiye. She also commended the leadership of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa of RHF, praising the foundation’s great humanitarian role in supporting the victims of the earthquake.
