Santa Catarina receives Bahraini Ambassadsor

Santa Catarina, Sept. 5 (BNA):  Jorginho Mello, Governor of the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, received Bader Abbas Al-Helaibi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The ambassador praised the steady progress of the Bahraini-Brazilian relations in various fields. He cited the remarkable increase in the volume of bilateral trade over the past five years, and the visits of senior officials to enhance bilateral coordination, especially in the political field.

He indicated that the two countries will celebrate the golden jubilee of their diplomatic relations next year, which will provide an opportunity to highlight joint achievements.

The two sides discussed ways to increase cooperation and bilateral trade between Bahrain and the state of Santa Catarina. They also reviewed potential vital investment fields in the kingdom.
