25 schools trained on using electronic games in education

Manama, Feb. 21 (BNA): A team from the Education Ministry’s King Hamad's Schools of the Future Project, and the Information Systems directorates has visited 25 schools from various educational stages to promote the culture of modern digital learning strategies, and train on how to activate the educational electronic games, using the educational version of "Minecraft" programme. The visits are within the Ministry of Education’s efforts to implement the Digital Empowerment Programme in education. The visits aimed at informing students and teachers about digital games and the best ways to use them in the educational problem-solving strategies. They also aim to encourage the creation of virtual projects and models of many educational topics, in addition to promoting the skills of collaborative work, innovation, creativity, research and investigation, to contribute to creating an advanced learning environment that is compatible with different learning styles and ways to keep up with modern education.
