Azerbaijan attends 35th international children`s festival in Turkey

Baku, April 23 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan has participated in the international 35th children`s festival in Turkey. The Turkish Radio-Television Corporation (TRT) hosted the 35th edition of its annual “23rd April International Children’s Festival” in Izmir, west-coast city of Turkey. The 35th edition of International Children’s Festival that organized by TRT Çocuk (Kids Channel) was celebrated in İzmir this year. Festival Parade, Dance Performances of World’s Children, Concerts, and Gala Show took place in the context of the festival. All these events were aired on special TRT Çocuk and other channels of TRT. This year, around 700 children from around the globe, aged between 9 and 14 participated in the festival’s Gala show which was broadcast live in Turkey. The show was also offered for broadcast around the world by TRT, to its broadcast partners. Further more, other TV programs such as “Towards the Festival” and “Today at the Festival” was available to inform the viewers about the festival events on daily base. To coincide with the Festival, TRT also staged the second International Children and Media Congress, and also in Izmir. This year the Congress was deliberated on “The Attitudes of Content Providers in Children’s Media”.
