Azerbaijan, China: Ministries of Education clinch agreement on cooperation

Baku, July 13 (AzerTAc). Education ministries of Azerbaijan and China have signed an agreement on cooperation in 2012-2015s. The agreement was inked by Azerbaijan`s Minister of Education Misir Mardanov and Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hong Tsuin. Addressing the event, Misir Mardanov noted that President Ilham Aliyev attaches great importance to development of the education. The Minister also stressed importance of the relations, cooperation in the relevant sphere between the two countries, and noted that 31 Azerbaijanis were studying in Chinese Higher Schools. The Minister hailed the cooperation between the Chinese and Azerbaijani Universities. Ambassador Hong Tsuin praised cooperation of both countries and expressed important role of education in the modern world. He also stressed necessity on further expansion of the relation in the relevant sphere. Azerbaijani ambassador to China Latif Gandilov was also present at the event. The memorandum envisages developing of the cooperation between the two countries, as well as exchanging of the teachers and students, expanding of bilateral relations of Higher Schools.
