Azerbaijan, Germany discuss development prospects of educational relations

Baku, June 27 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Education Misir Mardanov has met with Honorary Consul of the country in Stuttgart, Chairman of the Germany-Azerbaijan Forum Otto Hauser. Addressing the meeting, the Azerbaijani Minister stressed importance of the development of relations between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the educational sphere. He also praised the “Strengthening initial vocational education in Azerbaijan in the field of agriculture” project as a good example of the cooperation in the relevant sphere. Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Germany, Parviz Shahbazov who was present at the meeting, also hailed the successful relations in educational sphere between the both countries. Otto Hauser, in his turn, highlighted the directions of the establishment of the initial vocational education in the country on the basis of German model and noted that the relevant project would be realized in Sumqayit city of Azerbaijan. The sides also exchanged views on organization of the training courses and other issues.
