Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economic Development meets President of 67th session of UN`s General Assembly

Baku, June 19 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev has met President of the sixty-seventh session of the United Nations General Assembly Vuk Jeremic. Mr. Mustafayev briefed Vuk Jeremic on Azerbaijan`s economy, as well as large-scale projects carried out in the country. He also praised relations between Azerbaijan and the UN. The Minister also said the main obstacle to realizing the region`s potential was the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Vuk Jeremic hailed the role of Azerbaijan in UN`s Security Council and expressed confidence that bilateral fruitful cooperation between the country and the organization would further expand.
