Baku to host 7th International Environmental Project Olympiad

Baku, April 2 (AzerTAc). The 7th International Environmental Project Olympiad (Inepo-Euroasia) kicks off in Baku Thursday bringing together nearly 500 students from 45 countries including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Russia, Malaysia, Bulgaria, Pakistan, Thailand, Ukraine, Turkmenistan and Romania. Co-organized by Azerbaijan`s ministries of Education and Ecology and Natural Resources, SOCAR, Azerbaijan TV and Radio Broadcasting Company, Cag Oyretim Isletmeleri company and “Inepo-Eurasia” Environment Public Union, the event will mark the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. At today`s press conference, chairman of Cag Oyretim Isletmeleri company Board of Directors Enver Ozeren and head of General Directorate of Azerbaijan-Turkey Private High Schools Massoud Kurnaz provide an insight into the Olympiad, which is aimed at increasing youth`s awareness of increasing global environmental problems.
