Chairman of Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs becomes honorary doctor of Azerbaijani University of Languages

Baku, June 5 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs, head of the Russian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Alexei Pushkov has become an honorary doctor of the Azerbaijani University of Languages. He was honored for his contributions to strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries. Speaking at the award ceremony, rector of the university, Professor Samad Seyidov said that Russia had always supported Azerbaijan on an international scale, and highlighted the cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.
