Decline in coronavirus incidence observed in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2021 . / Kabar / . The number of cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection has significantly decreased in Kyrgyzstan, the National Statistics Committee of the country said Friday. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of laboratory and clinically-epidemiologically confirmed cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) decreased from 37,400 cases in July to 2,800 cases in September during the last three months of this year. In September, the capital city of Bishkek accounted for the largest share of registered coronavirus cases (more than 47%), Chui Oblast (about 22%) and Issyk-Kul Oblast (more than 15%). Number of those infected per 100 thousand people in September this year decreased by 4.3 times compared to August and by 13.2 times compared to July.
