Foreign scientists give lectures at Azerbaijan University of Languages

Baku, May 9 (AzerTAc). A group of foreign scientists on Wednesday delivered lectures at the Azerbaijan University of Languages as part of the international scientific conference called “Actual problems of teaching foreign languages” to mark the 90th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. The scientist were Nilufer Demirkan-Jones, graduate director and Pre-Masters Graduate Diploma Courses Director and CPD Manager at the UK University of Essex, Paola Trimarco, senior lecturer of the School of Arts and Humanities of the UK Suffolk University and Deborah Kennedy, director of the US Center for Applied Linguistics and associate vice president. The European Commission`s Director General of Interpretation Marco Benedetti spoke of the interpretation and the importance of application of new methods.
