Fuji Optical puts focus on needy people in Azerbaijan

Baku, July 1 (AzerTAc). Japanese “Fuji Optical” will conduct its 9th mission to Azerbaijan to provide optical aid to refugees and displaced persons. The company will be easing the plight of 2000 refugees in capital Baku, Mingachevir and Sumgait cities by improving their eyesight and providing them with 3,500 spectacles. Fuji Optical is UNHCR`s longest-serving corporate partner. It began cooperating with UNHCR in 1984, and has since conducted more than 24 missions to help uprooted people in Nepal, Thailand and Azerbaijan by testing their eyes and providing them with spectacles. The company has donated more than 108,200 pairs of glasses, provided optometry equipment, made cash grants and trained local medical staff.
