International Forum of Young Scholars kicks off in Baku

Baku, May 21 (AzerTAc). “New Challenges in the European Area: Young Scientist`s 1st International Baku Forum“ has today started at the conference hall of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). The forum, marking the 90th jubilee of national leader Heydar Aliyev, brings together 160 scholars from 32 European countries, as well as 190 scientists from Azerbaijan. The event is co-organized by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sports and Azerbaijan Young Scientists, Postgraduate and Masters Union (AYSPMU) in close cooperation with Eurodoc. The Forum aims to promote cooperation among the young scientists and researchers from European countries, and build new relations and conduct exchange of scientific information. The Forum is also designed to strengthen the existing young scientist networks within the European Research Area and facilitate the establishment of new international cooperation. A plenary session entitled “Crossing of interest: European young scientist`s experimental works – methods and results” will be held as part of the forum. The parallel sessions include: economy and sociology: business development of science and scientists, problems and new methods, scientist`s cooperation with business and economic structures and integration, technical sciences: new works in technical, nano technology, ICT spheres, medicine, biology and chemistry: European young scientist`s scientific works and results in medicine, chemistry and biology, ecology and agriculture: protecting biodiversity, soil contamination, degradation, good state of the water and history, philosophy, culture: European young scientist`s cooperation between humanitarian spheres.
