Israeli ambassador visits Baku State University

Baku, June 12 (AzerTAc). Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafael Harpaz and Deputy Head of Mission Ronen Krausz have visited the Baku State University to meet its rector, MP Abel Maharramov. The rector highlighted the history and activities of the University. Maharramov stressed the importance of student and teacher exchange, as well as the necessity of boosting cooperation among Azerbaijani and Israeli higher educational institutions. Dean of Oriental Studies Department Elkhan Azizov said there was Hebrew section at the department. They discussed ways of developing the relations between Azerbaijani and Israeli universities.
