Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology reports that a maximum precipitation (265.9 mm) was recorded last month in Khutag-Ondor soum, Bulgan aimag.
Dornogobi aimag’s Sainshand soum had the highest air temperature (+38.5°C), whereas the lowest air temperature (-2.0°C) was recorded in Otgon soum, Zavkhan aimag and in Terelj village near the city’s Nalaikh district.
Wind speed reached 20m/sec in Deluun soum, Bayan-Olgii aimag, in Altai soum of Gobi-Altai aimag, and in Khalhgol soum of Dornod.
Daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 31 times around the West crossroad of Ulaanbaatar, four times around the Kharkhorin black market; daily average concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded 26 times around the West crossroad, 18 times around the 13th micro district, 12 times around the 32nd Circle.
Particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded 13 times around the 13th micro District; particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded twice around the West Crossroad from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in August 2013.
