MINISTER AND MPS PAY TRIBUTE TO SENIOR TEACHERS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Education and Sciences L.Gantomor addressed a meeting of honor organized for senior teachers Wednesday by the Association for Senior Teachers (AST). Present was also a head of the parliamentary Standing committee Ts.Davaasuren and M.Enkhbold, B.Bat-Erdene and Kh.Bolorchuluun MPs. The Minister underlined an importance of the senior teachers’ participation in reforms in the educational sector and in preparing teachers. "We will pay a great deal of attention to our reform," he promised. The meeting gathered 2,600 teachers, three of them were awarded a title of Foremost Worker for Education. Moreover, the MPs gave gifts to those who had taught them ABC.
