Rector of Turkish Hitit University visits Azerbaijan Tourism Institute

Baku, June 25 (AzerTAc). Rector of Hitit University of Turkey, Professor Reha Metin Alkan and his accompanied delegation has visited the Azerbaijan Tourism Institute. Rector of the Azerbaijan Tourism Institute, Professor Jafar Jafarov provided information on the facility`s history, activity and international relations. Jafar Jafarov noted that the Azerbaijan Tourism Institute cooperates with different higher schools and international organizations. In his turn, Reha Metin Alkan said that Hitit University takes its name from the Hittite Civilization which has a history of thousand years in Anatolia. “Our university`s aim is to develop an educational culture which works out universal information, technology and is scrutinizing participative, sharing, unique, modern and also the university aims to train individuals who are competent and have respect to social values and environment. In this respect our university is an institution where individuals are trained who have leadership spirit and take humanistic values into consideration in order to produce original ideas, share and learn them to contribute to the social development. Hitit University focuses on bilateral agreements, all-round projects and subjects”. He also underlined that bilateral documents were signed with Azerbaijani higher schools during the visit. Turkish rector also noted that the Hitit University is interested in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Tourism Institute.
