Russian Mongolist awarded with state high medal

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Yu.Kuzmin, a famous Mongolist from Russia, was awarded with the Polar Star medal of Mongolia on March 7. At his age of 60, the academician received the medal from the Consul-General of Mongolia B.Bold in Russia’s Irkutsk. The state high medal was awarded in recognition of Mr Kuzmin’s great contributions to development of Mongol Studies in Russia and bilateral relations of the countries. Mr Kuzmin is a professor at the University of Economy and Law in Irkutsk, Russia At the medal presenting ceremony present also were the managing team of the University of Economy and Law, representatives of Mongolists in Irkutsk and students of Mr Kuzmin.
