Tehran to host physiotherapy congress

Tehran, May 6, IRNA - The 25th Iranian Annual Physiotherapy Congress will be held in Tehran from May 7 to 9. About 3,000 physiotherapists will participate in the three-day congress. Dr. Houshang Emami, executive secretary of the event, said orthopedic physiotherapy, neurological diseases, disorders affecting scapular muscles and pelvis, sports injuries and exercises are among topics that will be discussed during the congress. He also said 220 articles have been received by the secretariat. “Twenty-five educational workshops will be held on the sidelines of the congress,” he said. Emami noted that 70 companies will attend the event to present their medical equipment and physical therapy equipment for physiotherapy clinics. Iranian Physiotherapy Association is organizing the congress. end
