Activities of Qatar Racing Club for Cars and Motorcycles Kicks-Off Todday

Doha, October 14 (QNA) - The first activities of the Qatar Racing Club for Cars and Motorcycles for the new season (2021-2022), will starts today, where the drift competition track will host an open day event for the champions of this type of sport, as part of the intensive preparations for the launch of the Qatar Drift Championship in its first rounds on the eleventh and twelfth of next November. According to the schedule of the drifting open day, the technical inspection of the participating cars will be opened from four in the afternoon until six in the evening, after which the circuit will be opened for drivers to test their cars. The club is also scheduled to open the freestyle circuit and the two-wheeled parade, starting from six in the evening, for the fans of this sport to practice their hobby away from the dangers that they may be exposed to in the streets. Since the beginning of last September, the Qatar Racing Club for Cars and Motorcycles has begun the period of preparation for the start of the new season, which the club intends to make exceptional by all standards, as efforts will undoubtedly be doubled by the organizing committee for the championships in light of the precautionary measures imposed in the country to limit the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19). The club relies a lot on the success of the new season on the extensive experience it acquires year after year in this field, especially since the work this year is arduous and on two parallel tracks, the first related to safety and adherence to preventive measures, and the second is related to diversifying tournaments, increasing competition and attracting the largest number of speed lovers.
