AFC Champions League: Al Duhail Lose to Al Shorta 2-1

Jeddah, April 27 (QNA) - Iraqs Al Shorta SC ended a four-match losing run after beating Qatars Al Duhail SC 2-1 on Matchday Five of the 2021 AFC Champions League Group C on Tuesday. Al Shorta's goals were scored by Amjad Attwan in the minute (3) and Mohammed Dawood in the minute (85) minute, while Michael Olunga scored Al Duhail's goal in the minute (57). The result changes little for Al Shorta who remain rooted to the foot of the group, but opens the race wide at the top of Group C as Al Duhails tally stops at eight points, with their direct rivals Al Ahli Saudi FC and Esteghlal on seven points and facing each other later on Tuesday.
