AFC Champions League: Sydney FC Faces Shanghai SIPG on Thursday

Doha, November 18 (QNA) - The Australian club Sydney FC will face, on Thursday, Chinese Shanghai SIPG at Khalifa International Stadium, as part of the AFC Champions League 2020 football competition, hosted by Doha. This match was scheduled in the first round of the competition but was postponed due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Japan's Yokohama Marinos leads the group with 6 points after two games. The second postponed match in the group will be held next Sunday, when Jeonbuk Motors faces Shanghai SIPG at Khalifa International Stadium. Sydney FC head coach Steve Corica is looking forward to testing his young players as they resume their 2020 AFC Champions League campaign against Shanghai SIPG.
