AFC President Affirms His Confidence in Qatar's Ability to Organize Best World Cup in History

Doha, December 19 (QNA) -The Asian Football Confederation (AFC), President Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa congratulated the Asian teams that showed outstanding levels during the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021, he also noted that the wonderful organization of the Arab Cup, confirmed that Qatar is fully prepared to organize the best edition in the history of world Cup. The AFC President also congratulated the State of Qatar for organizing a version that achieved remarkable success, and witnessed the Algerian team win the championship title, while the Qatar national team ranked third on the final day of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021. Sheikh Salman, who attended the final match, said, that the world, witnessed for 19 days the spirit of hospitality and welcome in Qatar, and the most important thing is that the Arab Cup confirmed what Asia was confident that Qatar is fully prepared to stage the greatest World Cup in the history. Sheikh Salman on behalf of the Asian football family, congratulated Qatar Football Association (QFA), the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), and the local authorities for the outstanding efforts they have made, especially in these difficult circumstances affirming the support of the AFC to show true Asian and Arab hospitality.
