Al Ahli Defeat Al Shamal in the General Volleyball League

Doha, November 15 (QNA) - Al Ahli defeated Al Shamal 3-2 in the match played today at the end of the fourth round of the first division of the men's volleyball general league. Police SC topped the standings with 15 points, ahead of Al Rayyan, in second place with the same points, Al Arabi came in third place with 10 points, Al Ahli ranked fourth with eight points, Al Wakra fifth with seven points, Qatar SC sixth with six points, followed by Al Sadd seventh with five points, Al Khor eighth with four points, followed by Al Gharafa ninth with three points, and finally Al Shamal last with two points. Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) announced today the amendment of the matches of the first section of the General Men's Volleyball League, as the first section competitions will conclude on Dec.9, due to the participation of some players in the Asian Beach Volleyball Championship for men's teams from Nov. 20 to 28.
