Al Arabi and Al Duhail Head to Jeddah for 23rd Asian Clubs Handball Championship

Doha, June 09 (QNA) - Al-Arabi and Al-Duhail handball teams will leave tomorrow (Thursday) for Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 23rd Asian Championship for Champions League Clubs, whose competitions will start next Saturday and continue until June 21. Eleven clubs will participate in the tournament, divided into two groups. The first group includes Al-Arabi of Qatar, Shahid Kazron of Iran, Al-Salmiya of Kuwait, Mudar of Saudi Arabia and Al-Najma of Bahrain, while the second group includes Al-Duhail of Qatar, Al-Wehda of Saudi Arabia, Uzbek Uzbek, Yemeni cotton, Iranian Kerman and Kuwait SC. Al-Arabi begins his career in the tournament by meeting the Bahraini Al Najmah on Saturday 12 June, then the team will meet Saudi Mudar on Sunday 13 June, and will face Kuwaits Salmiya on Wednesday 16 June, before concluding his matches in the group stage by meeting Irans Shahid Kazron on Thursday 17 of the same month. As for the Al-Duhail team, it will start its confrontations by meeting Uzbekistan's Uzbekistan on Saturday 12 June, then it will play with Saudi Al-Wehda on Sunday 13 June, and will meet with Yemeni Cotton on Monday 14 June, and Kuwait SC on Wednesday 16 June, to conclude its matches in the group stage against Irans Kerman On Thursday 17th June.
