Al-Gharafa, Al-Arabi Secure Wins in Opening of First Round of Qatar Basketball League

Doha, December 05 (QNA) - The Qatar National Basketball League for the 2020-2021 season kicked off today, with two matches held at the Al-Gharafa club hall. Nine clubs are participating in the event: Al-Rayyan, Al-Gharafa, Al-Sadd, Al-Arabi, Al-Wakra, Al-Shamal, Qatar, Al-Khor and Al-Ahli. In the first match, Al-Gharafa defeated Al-Khor with a score of 104-64. The results were (21-14, 30-13, 33-15, 20-22) for Al-Gharafa. In the second match, Al-Arabi beat Al-Sadd with a score of (93-92). The match's results were (20-17, 11-22, 16-21, 29-16 and 17-16) for Al-Arabi. The first round competitions will be concluded Sunday with two matches between Qatar Club and Al-Wakra, and Al-Rayyan against Al-Ahli at Al-Gharafa club hall. (QNA)
