Al Gharafa Win Title of Qatar Men's Basketball League

Doha, January 25 (QNA) - Al Gharafa claimed the title of the 40th edition of the Qatar Men's Basketball League for the 2020/2021 sports season in which nine clubs participated. Al Gharafa secured a 89-71 victory over Al Shamal in the final match that took place At Al Gharafa Hall on Sunday. The match results were 22-17, 23-10, 25-17, 19-27 for Al Gharafa. Al Gharafa won the title for the second time in the history after they achieved their first in the 2013-2014 season. Al Shamal failed to win the title for the third season in a row after claiming the title of the (2018-2019) and (2019-2020) seasons. Today another match was played to determine the third and fourth places between Al Arabi and Al Sadd. Al Arabi secured 18-15 win over Al Sadd. The match results were 25-21, 16-15, 23-19, 18-15 for Al Arabi. (QNA)
