Al Khelaifi Re-Elected as President of Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation

Doha, November 23(QNA) - The General Assembly of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation, (QTSBF) re-elected during its meeting today, HE Nasser Ghanim Al Khelaifi, unopposed, as President of the Federation for a new four-year term. The General Assembly also decided to renew confidence in Tarek Zainal, after he was elected unopposed as the Secretary-General of the Federation. The General Assembly also renewed confidence in the members of the Federation's Board of Directors, who are Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Subaie, Khaled Al Khelaifi, Youssef Al Obaidely, Muhammad Al Subaie and Karim Al Alami. The meeting discussed ways to develop the game of tennis, squash and padel in the State of Qatar, as well as raising the level of Qatari players. The issue of developing tennis in Asia was also addressed, in light of Tariq Zainal's winning again as a member of the ATF Board of Directors after obtaining all the votes of the General Assembly during the recent elections that took place virtually. The General Assembly was held in the presence of representatives of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC). (QNA)
