Al Rayyan Reach Agreement with French Coach Laurent Blanc

Doha, December 20 (QNA) - Al Rayyan have signed a one-and-half deal with French coach Laurent Blanc. Blanc will replace Diego Aguirre, who resigned due to family reasons related to COVID-19 pandemic. In a press conference, Chairman of Al Rayyan Club Sheikh Ali bin Saud Al-Thani said that French coach Laurent Blanc represents a huge addition to Al Rayyan football team. Blanc said that he has huge goals to achieve with Al Rayyan in the upcoming period. Al Rayyan are in the sixth position with 12 points, nine points behind league leaders Al Sadd. Blanc had a prestigious career as a player and has a great career so far as a coach. He led Paris Saint-German to several domestic trophies including the league title in 2014, 2015, and 2016. (QNA)
